Sales Supervisor

To oversee the sales team and ensure that they are meeting their targets. To develop sales strategies and tactics, training and coaching the sales team, managing customer relationships, monitoring the sales pipeline, analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervision of the sales team, including new appointments, monthly commission administration, performance management, training, and development.

  • Establish and monitor weekly and monthly performance goals and priorities, ensuring that monthly sales targets are met.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports as required.

  • Identify sales opportunities and make recommendations.

  • Plan and coordinate sales activities and campaigns together with the marketing department.

  • Develop, mentor, and counsel the sales team.

  • Ensure section goals and objectives align with division and company strategy.

Educational and experience requirements
  • NQF 6 Diploma in Business, or related field.

  • Sales certification training will be an added advantage.

  • 2 years supervisory experience.

  • 3 - 5 years in the areas of financial services, sales, client service and/or administrative systems.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements
  • Knowledge of microlending regulations, laws, and procedures.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a target driven environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong organizational and multi tasking abilities.

  • High level of commitment and attention to detail.

Other
