Marketing & Communications Officer
To plan, develop, and execute strategic marketing and communication initiatives in
collaboration with various marketing agencies and service providers. This role aims to
enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and support the company’s overall goals.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, results-driven professional skilled at managing
marketing campaigns, crafting compelling content, and overseeing public relations efforts.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to effectively
promote the company's products and services. -
Create and manage internal communication strategies to keep employees informed
and engaged. -
Conduct market research to identify target audiences and uncover growth
opportunities. -
Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image and reputation.

Collaborate with marketing agencies to plan, execute, and monitor marketing
campaigns across digital, print, radio, and social media platforms. -
Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies to meet
objectives. -
Oversee content management for various platforms, including websites, social media,
newsletters, and press releases. -
Work with designers and suppliers to create engaging promotional materials.

Manage marketing payments and reconciliations to ensure effective budgeting.

Mange the stakeholder engagement plan to build and sustain relationships with
clients, partners, and media. -
Conduct annual stakeholder surveys to gather feedback and insights.

Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
Knowledge and Skills
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in digital marketing tools
and platforms, and experience with content management systems. -
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing strategies and materials.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making. -
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience

Diploma in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations.

Advanced Diploma or Degree (NQF 7) will be an added advantage.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably
within the financial services industry.
