To direct and manage the Finance (primary) and HR Department (secondary). Implement, review and monitor internal procedures and controls. Coordinate and Prepare
audit files, ensure cashflow management, and approve disbursements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare AFS, Management accounts, cash flow, and variance reports for the business.

  • Prepare and motivate the respective budgets and prepare scenario reporting.

  • Review and monitor the disbursement of new loans and refund payment on the system.

  • Monitor variances between daily disbursement reports and actual payouts.

  • Monitor entire loan account movements as per company procedures.

  • Review of monthly bank reconciliations.

  • Approve accounts payables and other refunds.

  • Responsible for compliance procedures for finance and HR.

  • Attend to internal and external queries relating to financial inquiries.

  • Manage stakeholders' engagements with auditors and regulators.

  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Monitoring training needs and developing and managing employee training programs.

  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations, including health and safety rules.

  • Developing and managing employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.

  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters.

Educational and experience requirements
  • Postgraduate Qualification in Finance or higher with banking-related qualification would be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience of which 5 should be at senior management level, specifically in Accounting, Finance, and HR environment.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements
  • Computer Literacy with experience in all Microsoft products. Excel is a must.

  • Analytical inclined and problem solver and emotionally mature.

  • A good team player and leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high EQ will be an added advantage.

  • Excellent writing, planning, and organizing skills.

  • Ability to work independently with constant pressure while managing the teams.
