Marketing & Business Development



Key performance areas

  • Presents, promotes, and sells PostFin loan products to meet set sales targets.

  • Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.

  • Be accessible to current and potential PostFin clients.

  • Identify and investigate business opportunities, in order to meet sales targets.

  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans.

  • Achieves agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.

  • Provide after sales service to clients.

  • Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from advertising and awareness/promotions.

  • Establishes and maintains current client and potential client relationships.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc., and reports said information back to the Marketing and Business Development management team.

Educational and experience requirements
  • Certificate in Sales/Marketing or extensive Sales training.

Additional competencies
  • 3 - 5 years experience as a Sales Representative.

  • Relevant knowledge of the Microlending environment.

  • Proactive attitude.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Goal-orientated and able to meet set targets.

  • Valid driver’s license - Must have.

  • Own transport will be an added advantage.

  • Energetic, outgoing, self-motivated, responsive, assertive, ability to handle pressure, honest, innovative, able to work without supervision.
